On October 29th, County Prep students attended a virtual Dare to Dream Student Leadership Conference. The conference featured accomplished students and adults with challenges who have demonstrated exemplary self-advocacy and leadership skills. The purpose of this event was to empower students to help them transition from high school to adulthood. Some of the workshops attended included “How I Communicate,” “Ableism versus Advocacy,” “Recipe for Success,” and “Body Language at Work.” It was a unique virtual experience that spurred a great dynamic structured learning experience.
