The students in the Social Skills Club spent an enjoyable afternoon visiting the Museum of Chinese in America in New York City. Through this interactive experience, the students were able to develop a better understanding of the Chinese American history and community. They were able to see through historical documentation, photos, and exhibits the beginning and current roles the evolving story of the influences of Chinese in America. After the tour, the students had a delightful lunch in a local restaurant and spent time walking through Chinatown to see the influences of the Chinese culture today.
