In anticipation of National Poetry Month next month, students in Mrs. Ashe’s World Literature classes wrote their own poems inspired by works of art. These ekphrastic poems were the center of world poetry readings they held on Friday March 24th in their classes. Students read original lyric poems, narratives, and haikus. They are looking forward to hosting another reading in April.
