On Wednesday, February 8, 2017, County Prep students, William Lebron and Damion Holmes, visited Brookdale Community College’s Automotive Technology labs to get a first-hand glimpse of the various programs of study. They toured the state-of-the-art facility which is designed to meet the continual demand for trained automotive technicians. The students rotated through the different automotive specialties and observed current students testing, diagnosing, and repairing automobiles. Brookdale Community College has partnered with major companies including General Motors and STS Tire providing a clear-cut pathway to employment upon completion of the respective programs. Overall, it was an invaluable Structured Learning Experience that defined a viable career option for our students.
