As students near the end of the 2014-2015 school year, guidance counselor Patricia Villarruel is excited to report that the following students were awarded summer scholarships. David Sami and Vanessa Honday were each given a full scholarship of $7,975.00 to go to Rhode Island School of Design for the Summer Pre-College program. Nicholas D’Orenellas and Maviel Gonzalez both were awarded scholarships for the Pre-College program at Maryland Institute College of Art in the amount of $4,600.00. Samiyah Bryant was given a scholarship to attend Northfield Mount Hermon’s Pre-College program and take Algebra II and Dance. Congratulations to all of the students for their accomplishments.
