On Friday, March 27th, ten volunteers from Crowe Horwath (a major accounting firm) presented to over 185 County Prep students in the Consumer Math, Business Management, Career Explorations, Retail Marketing, Introductory Business, IT Essentials, Business Computer Applications, Entrepreneurship, and IT Applications classes. The presentation provided an overview of job search strategies including Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills, and the Elevator Pitch opportunity. In addition, students also participated in one-on-one Mock Interviews with practicing professionals in the business world.
