The Medical Science Department had the great pleasure of hosting Tushar M. Patel, MD, MS, CTBS on April 19, 2023. Dr. Patel, a CPHS Medical-Science Alumni from the Class of 2011, gave an inspiring, interactive presentation to the Junior class about his time at County Prep and his journey to becoming a physician. In addition, Dr. Patel spoke with the Medical-Science Freshman and Sophomore classes about his current profession, working as a physician for the NJ Organ Sharing Network. Throughout his presentations, Dr. Patel focused on educating the students about the importance of organ donation, allowing them to make an informed decision about becoming a donor in the future. All grade levels walked away from their respective presentations with newfound knowledge and inspiration for their future.
