County Prep Seniors Visit Build-a-Bear for Culminating Activity in Early Childhood Course

County Prep seniors enrolled in Ms. Bello’s Early Childhood/Social Development course visited Build-A-Bear in Paramus Park as a culminating activity to experience the program as if they were young children. By looking through the lens of a youngster, students gained a deeper understanding of the developmentally appropriate tasks of building a bear and the academic and emotional value of the activities. The opportunity to view a project from a child’s perspective complemented classroom instruction.

It was an educational, fun-filled Structured Learning Experience for the students.
