County Prep's Social Skills Club visited American Dream Mall on Friday, December 8, 2023. Students practiced their communication skills by interacting with each other and store employees during the shopping experience. Math and budgeting skills were reinforced in making prudent purchasing decisions within the framework of their personal budget. Visiting the different stores and eateries broadened their awareness of potential career pathways in the retail and food service industries. It was a fun-filled, educational experience that reinforced educational objectives.
