Early in April, County Prep’s SkillsUSA club acted as host to over 100 students from 16 local and county health occupation technical programs. The students competed in four contests designed to test their technical and leadership skills against the best high school students in New Jersey. Contests included Medical Math, Medical Terminology, Health Occupations Professional Portfolio, and a Health Knowledge Bowl. Winners will be announced at the NJ SkillsUSA Championships Awards Ceremony on May 2nd at the Garden State Exhibition Center in Somerset. County Prep has two finalists who will receive medals: Junior Chengru Long for Medical Math and Dalia Eldeeb for Health Occupations Professional Portfolio.
