Jannat was awarded 2nd place for creating the “GenIt!” app for students in her community. “GenIt!” is a free, student-focused app that helps low-income and first-generation students discover internships, scholarships, and summer programs on a live database. Her app was created to help build one single space where students can be provided with a list of free to low-cost various academic programs based on their financial need.
