County Prep Visual Arts Students Receive Top Honors and 10 Judges Awards at Teen Arts

Bayonne, NJ — Congratulations to County Prep High School’s talented Visual Arts students who made an outstanding impression at the 39th Annual Hudson County Alliance of Teen Arts, held at the Bayonne Public Library from May 12th to May 27th. The event showcased the works of art and photography from students across the county, celebrating the creativity, vision and talent of young artists.

County Prep students earned an impressive 11 awards for their outstanding submissions.

Kermena Hanna (12) who received Top Honors for her striking photograph "The Smile I Borrow," also received a Judges Award for "Freedom Isn’t Free." Her "The Smile I Borrow" will go on to represent County Prep High School at the State Teen Arts Festival, held at Middlesex College from June 2nd to June 4th—continuing the celebration of artistic excellence on a statewide stage.

In Fine Arts, Rebeca Revelo (11) and Adrian Gonzalez (10) were also honored with Judges Awards for their compelling and original artistic works.

County Prep’s Commercial Photography instructor, Mr. Dimitri Rodriguez, expressed his pride in the students' achievements:

“It’s inspiring to see the vision and voice these young artists bring to their work. Their passion and dedication shine through every image and canvas. This recognition is a testament to their hard work and creativity.”
