County Prep/ATD celebrated the Week of Respect from October 7 to 11!
High Tech/ACTE celebrated the Week of Respect with a series of engaging activities! Spirit Week kicked off with Blue Monday, followed by Teamwork Tuesday (where students wore their favorite team jerseys), Fandom Wednesday (representing their favorite band, musician, or TV show), PJ Thursday, and wrapped up with Respect Your Mental Health Friday (a day with no school for students).
Freshmen participated in an HIB (Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying) presentation led by Peer Leaders during orientation. Throughout the week, Peer Leaders visited homerooms to encourage students to write positive words on Post-it notes. These notes were added to creative displays, including a “Respect” banner at the main entrance and a Scrabble-inspired bulletin board that promoted kindness and respect. It was a week full of fun, learning, and fostering a positive community!
