Two County Prep Juniors Place in New Jersey SkillsUSA Photography Competition

Mr. Grele and Mr. Patten have announced that two Juniors in Commercial Photography have placed in this year’s NJ SkillsUSA Photography competition. Casey Kelly won 3rd place with a bronze medal and Jared Maldanado won First Place with a Gold Medal. This year’s competition was virtual, but the same rules applied in the photography category as with other years. The competition included two competition prints each, a portfolio, and a field assignment that the students had to go through. This year’s field assignment was based on architecture photography. Since Jared won the Gold Medal Award, he will go on to represent New Jersey in the National SkillsUSA competition. Casey and Jared would like to thank Mr. Michael Grele, Mr. Gerard Patten, our principal, Ms. Mendolla, and our superintendent, Ms. Amy Lin-Rodriguez for their continued support of the photography program.
